Ingredients:
- 3 Tbsp water kefir grains
- 3 quarts filtered water
- 1 tsp blackstrap molasses
- 1/2 cup sugar
Method:
- Place kefir grains in brewing container.
- Dissolve molasses and sugar in water.
- Pour sugar water into brewing container.
- Allow 24-48 hours to ferment.
- Place water kefir in bottles with flavorings for second ferment. Allow another 24 hours before transferring to the fridge. See below for flavoring ideas.

- Citrus mojito - lime juice, OJ, mint
- Apple cider - apple core [optional: cinnamon stick, whole cloves]
- Orange cream soda - OJ, vanilla extract
